Blogger.com for Artists: An Innovative Idea to Make Blogger.com Relevant Again

What: Blogger.com is No Longer Seen as Relevant

The internet has changed a lot, and I’ve observed how Blogger.com user data has become insignificant compared to other platforms like YouTube. Therefore, I took a different perspective to ensure that Blogger.com can still be efficient and relevant for me as a songwriter and singer.

Who: Blogger.com Users Are Outnumbered by YouTube Users

According to statistical data on Statista:

We can see that Blogger.com receives only around 30 million visits per month globally. That’s a small number compared to the personal and artistic content on YouTube, which can reach millions of views overnight.

Internet users have long looked down on Blogger.com without realizing how efficient this platform can be for building a true art board, a space for artists to exchange information, and a bulletin board for sharing information and art across continents.

When: When Can Blogger.com Become Efficient and Impactful Again?

Here’s the interesting part: Blogger.com actually offers money and freedom for artists and original digital content creators.

One example is in the field of music. Artists and their crews often forget that the lyrics and guitar chords they play can actually strengthen their own ecosystem. If an artist posts lyrics and chords on their official blog, it makes the blog more worth visiting and can also be better monetized through ads. Social media cannot and is not suitable for posting song lyrics and chords, even when officially posted by the artist themselves.

Why: Art Cannot Be Limited by the Basic Features of Mainstream Platforms

If you are a true artist, someone who creates everything from scratch into a complete work. then your art cannot be represented by just sound, images, videos, or text alone. Other platforms are too strict and apply too many filters to express explicit messages in art.

How: Pure Art and Freedom of Expression Are the Essence of True Art Honesty

The current platform that can best represent the full needs of real artists is a website and more simply, Blogger.com. It’s extremely efficient in accommodating art, from its customizable backgrounds, widgets, to the full web space that can be used to express art and honest messages explicitly.

You can attach abstract art backgrounds to your posts about songs, lyrics, or any other art forms as you wish. You can share your own created sounds, beats, latest news, decorations, or anything you want to showcase to the world through your website. You can explain the technical details of your songs and provide your audience with honest and even explicit information brutally honest, if necessary.

My Story: How I Came Up with This Idea

Blogger.com actually holds many opportunities for artists and individuals with their own intellectual wealth.

I created a blog called diarynesia.com in an effort to introduce what’s happening in my place to the world. I’ve poured a lot of time and money into it, but so far it hasn’t produced anything.

Due to Google’s increasingly selective approach in displaying content on the first page, it’s become harder to compete with giant corporate websites like mainstream media.

But at this very moment, I see blogging becoming legitimate and efficient again with a different perspective: Blogger.com for Artists. Blogger.com for artists offers space for creators with their intellectual property both digital and physical to be showcased honestly, fully, and freely (explicitly, in the context of art… haha, you know what I mean, right?)
